Under the support of the special coal project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in November 2015, the Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute cooperated with Beijing Guoneng China Power to use the carbon-based catalyst developed by the Shanxi Coal Chemical Institute's independent intellectual property rights. The device was stable for one month and the catalyst showed excellent performance. The dust concentration after purification was less than 10mg/Nm3; SO2 was removed. In addition to efficiency greater than 99%, the emission concentration is lower than 10mg/Nm3; when the NOx inlet concentration is low, nearly 80% of the denitration efficiency is achieved, the emission concentration is lower than 80mg/Nm3; the heavy metal Hg emission concentration is lower than 3μg/Nm3, each index Both have reached the "ultra-low emission" standard, and this result is better than public reports at home and abroad.

The research team led by Huang Zhanggen, a researcher at Shanxi Coal Chemistry Institute, has worked tirelessly for nearly 20 years to clarify the basic principles of removing pollutants from carbon-based catalysts, revealing the mutual influence mechanism of pollutant removal and determining the preparation of carbon-based catalysts. The program developed the two-generation process technology of fixed bed and moving bed for the dry integrated removal of flue gas pollutants. The innovation of this technology is that the multiple pollutants (dust, SO2, NOx, heavy metals, dioxins, etc.) in the flue gas are integrated in one reaction system, and the "0" consumption is achieved on the basis of high efficiency and low energy consumption. The successful operation of the industrial demonstration marks the basic maturity of the process and technology for the removal of multi-pollutant moving bed of flue gas by dry integration of carbon-based catalysts, and for the industries of iron and steel, metallurgy, chemical industry, coal combustion, and waste incinerators in China. The treatment of gas pollutants and technological innovation and improvement are of great significance.

Based on the scale of the existing industrial demonstration, a modular design can be formed by 4-5 times magnification. This enlargement makes it possible to standardize and scale up the production of environmental protection devices, which can be applied to larger pollutants in parallel when stacked in parallel. Removal is more conducive to the promotion and application of technology. The later cooperation between the two sides will further strengthen the optimization of key technical processes, improve the preparation process of the carbon-based catalyst industry, and develop high-value preparation processes for sulfur resources, which will provide the final solution for China's flue gas treatment.
