China Minmetals' total operating revenue for the past 15 years is RMB 211.8 billion

From the China Minmetals Group on the 25th, it was learned that China Minmetals achieved a total operating revenue of 218.06 billion yuan in 2015, and achieved total profitability in the copper, iron ore, and coal mining business areas.
As a comprehensive enterprise of metal minerals, China Minmetals' total merchandise operations in 2015 reached 84.0003 million tons, of which iron ore concentrate production was 6.836 million tons, an increase of 2.6% year-on-year; copper production was 217,000 tons, a record high; steel exports total 333.9 thousand tons.
In 2015, China Minmetals took steps in its international operations. On the one hand, it fully completed construction of the Lasbonbasus copper mine in Peru. This is the largest overseas M&A project in China's metal mining industry. On the other hand, it successfully obtained the exclusive exploration rights and preferential mining rights for the 73,000 square kilometers multi-metal combined mining area at the bottom of the East Pacific Ocean and created a precedent for Chinese companies in this field.
In addition, seizing the opportunity to deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises and push forward the restructuring of the state-owned economy, China Minmetals implemented a strategic reorganization with China Metallurgical Group at the end of 2015. The “complementary restructuring” of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain has brought the scale of the Minmetals assets to 7055. Billion yuan will help improve its resources to control strength, synergy of comprehensive services across the industry chain, and international competitiveness.
