2, excellent surface quality and dimensional accuracy.

When machining with taps, it is quite difficult to obtain good surface finish and thread accuracy due to the low cutting speed and the difficulty of chip breakage. However, for thread milling, everything is not a problem! High cutting speed, low cutting force makes the cutting surface smooth; fine chips can be easily washed out of the workpiece by the coolant without scratching the machined surface. For workpieces with high thread precision requirements, since the thread milling cutter is helically inserted to ensure accuracy, it is easy to obtain the required high-precision thread by simply adjusting the program. This feature has an absolute advantage in precision threading.

3, safe operation, easy to control.

In the processing of difficult-to-machine materials such as titanium alloys, high-temperature alloys and high-hardness materials, the taps are often distorted or even broken in the parts due to too much cutting force. In the processing of long chip materials, once the chip removal is not smooth, the chips will wrap around the tap or block the hole, which often causes the tap to collapse or break in the part. Removing the broken tap is time consuming and laborious and can damage the part. To solve this problem we can use a thread milling cutter. Since the thread milling cutter is gradually cut into the material, it produces a cutting force that is less likely to occur. Even in the event of a broken knife, since the diameter of the milling cutter is much smaller than that of the threaded hole, it is easy to remove the broken part from the part without damaging the part.
