The trimming of large-size rectangular workpieces is mass-produced. At present, the overall frame clamp is usually used for clamping. The clamp structure is huge, and the power source is gas, liquid and power. The follow-up clamping mechanism adopted by our factory is mechanical clamping, which has the characteristics of simple structure, low cost and good reliability compared with the former. The clamping device is used in a special machine for trimming (Fig. 1). The workpiece material is ABS plastic plate, the thickness of the trimming edge is 3~5mm, the trimming dimension is rectangular 1800×800mm, and the four sides are simultaneously milled.
The [Screw-Locking" tangless insert provides self-locking torque on the male member by a series of [chords" on one or more of the insert coils. With tangless inserts, no loose tangs are left behind, and they are the solution when foreign object debris (FOD) cannot be present in critical applications.
