The owner requested that the three south-facing houses be used as bedrooms, study rooms and guest rooms, but at the same time, the restaurant was required to have enough space for dining and meeting. Therefore, the designer boldly knocked out the kitchen and walkways, the walls between the restaurants, and used the open kitchen to extend the sense of space in the restaurant. In addition, one of the walls of the room was moved to make the restaurant slightly regular in shape.

The next thing to deal with is the irregular corners that are found in almost every room. If you leave it alone, it will not only be unsightly but also waste space. Considering that the overall area of ​​the house is relatively small and there is no dedicated space for storage, designer Zhang Qiaoling said that there are three tricks to deal with similar irregular room types:

The first move: TV cabinet

The restaurant's beveled corner has a special TV cabinet. Apart from placing TVs and stereos, it can also store a large number of video discs and sundries. The room also has a mini-TV cabinet at the corner of the window.

The second measure: lockers

The wardrobe corner of the room increases the capacity of the wardrobe. The long rows of bookcases in the study not only provide a lot of space for the books, but also cover the oblique side of the room.

The third measure: shower room

As the bathroom area is too small, if you want to put on the washing machine, bath and grooming table, the activity space is very small, and how to calculate the area of ​​the bevel is not sufficient. Therefore, the shower room replaced the bathtub originally envisaged, and not only fully utilized this small area at the bevel angle, but the space was even larger than expected.
