Namibia’s diamond production is reduced

According to the "Nage Newspaper" reported on July 3, 2012, as the only diamond production company in Namibia, by the end of June, Namdeb Diamond Company's production in January-May 2012 decreased by 30%, producing only 198,000 carats of diamonds. According to the company's statistics, the current unit cost of actual production is 126 nanometers, while the target unit cost is 107 nanometers. With the full operation of the Elizabeth Bay mining area and increased production, the company strives to reduce the unit cost gap and achieve the profit target at the end of the year.
