On August 1, the National Development and Reform Commission announced on its website the "Notice on Perfecting the On-grid Electricity Tariff Policy for Solar PV Power." It was clarified that the on-grid tariffs for photovoltaic power projects approved before and after July 1 this year were 1.15 yuan and 1 yuan per kilowatt-hour respectively. .

The introduction of this policy is undoubtedly to stimulate the popularity of solar photovoltaic power generation. However, in Zhejiang, where the cost of photovoltaic power generation is still relatively high, the price of this online benchmark is obviously very high. In this regard, in yesterday's industry seminar, various experts and photovoltaic companies in our province made different interpretations of this price.

Prior to this, the price of photovoltaic power generation online benchmarks was not clear and was considered by many people in the industry as one of the factors restricting the start of the domestic photovoltaic market. However, the clarity of this price has made some enterprises in our province happy.

Some companies believe that as a southeastern Zhejiang province, the lighting time is far less than in the northwest. At the same time, the projects that enjoy the subsidy of the Golden Sun project can only be executed in accordance with the benchmark on-grid tariff of the coal-fired unit. "A lot of people have little incentive to invest in power plants."

According to relevant persons from the provincial Economic and Information Commission, the cost of photovoltaic power generation projects in our province is still too high. The weak sunlight, short sunshine hours, and high cost of land are all constraints. The 2 MW photovoltaic grid-connected project located in the Yuhang Development Zone, after enjoying the Golden Sun project subsidy and local government subsidies, the cost of electricity generation is still at 1.43 yuan/kWh. Therefore, according to this online benchmark price, it is very difficult to generate electricity in Zhejiang.

Prior to this, Qinghai Province will establish a PV project that will be completed before September 30 of this year and guarantee an electricity price of 1.15 yuan per kilowatt-hour. This price is considered as an important reference for the National Development and Reform Commission to determine the benchmark price of photovoltaic power generation on the Internet.

Li Xianshou, chief executive officer of Li Huishou, believes that this benchmark price is based on the consideration of encouraging the development of the western region. This will attract more corporate funds to the west in return for gains. In the short term, the eastern coast may be more suitable for the development of photovoltaic roofs or small power stations to meet the needs of enterprises or households.
