Prepare before operation
Connect the output cable socket of the control box and the cable socket of the voltage doubler device with a special cable. Check the integrity of the instrument before use. The connection cable should have no short circuit and open circuit; the double pressure tube should have no condensation phenomenon; use 2.5mm2 The above copper wire connects the control box ground to the ground of the voltage doubler device and is reliably grounded.
Operation process
(1) Connect the sample between the high voltage output terminal and the ground terminal.
(2) Plug in the power cord and turn on the power switch. The “High Voltage†indicator (green) is on. The “High Voltage on†indicator (red) is off. The voltage and current displays and the 0.75 times voltage display are both displayed. Is the value.
(3) Turn the voltage and current setting knobs clockwise to the end, and turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero. (Note: The voltage adjustment knob is not at zero, it cannot start the “High-voltage closing†button)
(4) Press the “High Pressure†button, the “High Pressure†indicator (red) is on, and slowly adjust the voltage adjustment knob to the desired voltage value for testing. When the DC high voltage generator is tested, the voltage display meter indicates the test voltage value, and the unit is kV; 0.75 times the voltage display table 11 indicates 75% of the test voltage value, and the unit bit kV; the current display table 7 indicates the test current value, and the unit is uA. (5) Pressing the 0.75 times voltage display latch button during the test of the test sample will lock the display value of the 0.75 times voltage display and keep the displayed value inconvenient. This is convenient as a reference voltage when doing a zinc oxide arrester test.
(6) Press the timer button at any time to start the time relay. When the timer reaches the preset time, the buzzer will send an alarm signal and cut off the high voltage output.
(7) During the test, if the load current exceeds 0-10% of the rated output current of the instrument, the "over-current" indicator will light up and over-current protection will prevent damage to the test sample and instrument.
(8) During the test, if the test voltage exceeds 0-10% of the rated output voltage of the instrument, the "overvoltage" indicator will light up and over-protection to prevent damage to the test sample and instrument.
(9) After the test is completed, turn the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero and the voltage display slowly returns to zero. When the three display meters show zero value, press the “High Voltage†button, and the “High Voltage†indicator (red) is off, the “High Voltage†indicator (green) is on, and then the power switch is turned off.
(10) When the test object has a large capacity, after the voltage adjustment knob is turned to zero and the output voltage display table is not able to return to zero, press the “high voltage†button first, and then shut down. Then discharge the sample with a discharge wand and remove the wiring of the sample.
