The essence of the concentrate is small in size, high in nutritive value, and easy to digest, but minerals and vitamins are scarce. Therefore, when blending pig feed, the green, coarse, and concentrate feeds should be properly matched, and mineral supplement feeds (such as bone meal, salt, etc.) should be added to meet the nutritional needs.

2. Pay attention to the size of the diet

When used with pig feed, if the raw material is too much, the nutrition is poor, the volume is large, the pig can't finish, the nutrition can't be satisfied, and the whole concentrate is used instead of the green roughage. Although it can satisfy the nutrition, the pig is not eaten because of the small volume. full. The volume of the diet can be calculated as 2.5~4.5 kg of feed air dry matter per 100 kg of pig body weight per day. The ratio of green, coarse and concentrate is generally 5:3:2. For example, a pregnant pig with a weight of 150 kg, 5 kg of feed air dry matter per day, 2.5 kg from the green material (1 kg for the green material 6 kg, 15 kg for the green material); 1.5 kg for the coarse 1 kg from the concentrate. The green and coarse concentrates total 17.5 kg.

3. Good palatability

In the compound feed, if the energy and protein content are high, the crude fiber is less, the palatability is good, and it is easy to digest; on the contrary, the energy and protein content are low, and the crude fiber is more, the palatability is poor, and it is difficult to digest. When using pig feed, it is advisable to use green feed, use less roughage, and the quality of the roughage is better.

4. Selection of suitable diet

For piglets, breeding boars, and fattening pigs in the fattening stage, the concentrate type can be used. The concentrate can account for more than 50% of the total diet; the breeding sows and gilts can be used in the green type, and the green feed can account for the total diet. The weight is 50%; the shelf pig can be used with bran type, and the bran feed can account for more than 50% of the total weight of the diet.
