CNC lathe layout

The layout of the main shaft and tailstock of the CNC lathe is basically the same as that of the ordinary lathe, and the layout of the bed structure and the guide rail has changed fundamentally because it directly affects the performance of the CNC lathe and the machine tool. The bed structure and guide rail of the CNC lathe have various forms, mainly including horizontal bed, inclined bed, horizontal bed sliding saddle and vertical bed, etc. The layout form is as shown in the figure:

The horizontal bed has good manufacturability and is convenient for the processing of the guide surface. From the structural size, the horizontal placement of the tool holder makes the horizontal length of the slide plate longer, thereby increasing the structural size in the width direction of the machine tool.
The horizontal bed is equipped with a sloping slide and is equipped with an inclined rail guard. This layout has the characteristics of a horizontal bed on the one hand, and the size of the machine in the width direction is smaller than that of a horizontal skateboard. And the chip removal is convenient.
The horizontal bed is equipped with a sloping slide and a slanted bed. The slanted skateboard layout is commonly used by medium and small CNC lathes. This is because the two layouts are easy to remove chips, hot iron filings do not accumulate on the guide rails, and it is easy to install the automatic chip conveyor; easy to operate, easy to install the robot to achieve stand-alone automation; the machine has a small footprint and a simple shape Beautiful, easy to achieve closed protection.
The inclined bed is mostly 30°, 45°, 60°, 75° and 90° (called vertical bed) angles, commonly used 45°, 60° and 75°.
