On January 10th, the 2013 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Beijing. Professor Xu Xipeng of Huaqiao University and others completed the “Key Technology and Application of Diamond Abrasive Tools for High-Efficiency Stone Processing†project and won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. The results of the project have been widely used in the field of stone processing at home and abroad, achieving high efficiency, low cost, low cuttings and low energy processing of stone. Promoted the improvement of the overall technical level of stone processing in China.
As the first cooperation unit in China, Professor Wang Zhonglin, an American expert who organized the application by Xiamen University, was awarded the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China. Professor Wang Zhonglin is a well-known scientist in the field of nanomaterials, nanotechnology and electron microscopy. He has obtained many original research results with internationally important influences on the controllable growth, characterization and application of nanomaterials.
