When the pump is working, the sealing line can effectively block the passage of gas to achieve the purpose of conveying gas; when the medium contains solid particles, if the solid particles are squeezed in the sealing line, the surface of the stator rubber is compressed due to the elasticity of the rubber stator, solid When the particles pass over the sealing line, the stator rubber rebounds to restore the original shape, so that the single screw pump can achieve the purpose of containing a small amount of solid particles in the conveying medium.
Generally, the nature and state of the medium transported by the single screw pump are relatively complicated, and may cause blockage in the pipeline. Since the single-screw pump is a positive displacement type pump, when a blockage or human error occurs, the pump may overpressure and easily damage its components.
In order to prevent damage to the pump, a safety valve must be installed between the discharge pipe of the pump and the suction pipe. It is also possible to install a pressure relay in the outlet line and automatically stop the pump when the pump exceeds the rated pressure.
