In 2010, 8 application projects for 5 mining companies including Shizhuyuan, Shuikoushan, Huangshaping, Yaogangxian and Xintianling received a total of 67 million yuan in special funds from the Central Government's demonstration projects and award projects, of which 4200 were demonstration projects. It is expected that the central government will receive a special fund subsidy of over 100 million yuan.
Shizhuyuan has achieved outstanding results in resource conservation and comprehensive utilization. This year it has successfully applied for the first batch of demonstration bases for the conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources in China and has become one of the 14 non-ferrous metal mine demonstration bases in the country. Has been submitted to the Ministry of Land and Finance for review. The establishment of Shizhuyuan demonstration base will demonstrate and lead the transformation of mining development methods for non-ferrous mining enterprises in Hunan.
