Cowpeas are famous for their beans. Many people like to grow cowpeas. So why do cowpeas fall into pods? This mainly has the following two situations:
1. The reason for the plant itself. 2. The impact of adverse weather conditions. In the early flower bud differentiation of spring cowpea, the temperature is low, and the flower is often stunted, causing the flower to fall. During the flowering period, low temperature or high temperature drought or high temperature and rain will also cause the flowers to fall. Under normal circumstances, the early flowering is mainly caused by low temperature affecting flower bud development, affecting pollination and fertilization (not fertilized normally at a temperature below 15 °C). In addition, another reason for flowering in the early flowering stage is the contradiction between the vegetative growth and the reproductive growth of the plants for nutrients. The reason for the mid-term flowering is mainly due to the contradiction between the three-dimensional result of the plant and the reproductive growth competition for nutrients.
